I'd love to add IR support as well, but I confess I'm unclear about the best way to do this within the simplified PiCorePlayer environment. (Ok, it's upside-down until you enable Jivelite and specify 0 rotation.) The only notable update I'd offer to those instructions is that there's no need to scan your network to find the device - the IP address is plainly visible on the display from the beginning. DecemPlease try the new release (piCorePlayer 1.22). It is built on a small read-only linux (Tiny Core/piCore) and Triodes excellent Squeezelite player. I also added the optional (deeper) back to neaten things up a bit this required drilling a couple of holes for the audio connections. piCorePlayer is a dedicated Squeezebox player (like a Duet receiver) for your Raspberry Pi. Thing is, once you add in the Argon case and a power supply (potentially the official one), it starts to add up. I also have the new RPi4 with LibreELEC 9. pretty closely, only I used the Touch 2 case and a Raspberry Pi 3B+ with a HiFiBerry DAC+Pro. 1x Picoreplayer with Hifiberry DAC/ADC pro, 3x Picoreplayer with Jivelite 7' Display und IQaudio DigiAmp+, 2 Picoreplayer RPI4+ LMS8, Marantz PM-15S1 amplifier. I followed HOWTO: Building and Installing the Raspberry Pi 3 "Touch" Audio Streamer. and now I have a working Raspberry Pi-based player using PiCorePlayer! Thanks everyone.
